Slipping

I had a great day socially. It was peaceful, and my friends were good to me. In terms of calories however…big failure. Got to get down to 219 by Sunday. I have to want this more than anything.

Today:     Calories: 1953      Fat: 110.3

Weight: 223 pounds      73 to go

  1. Congratulations on the weight loss so far, but you’ve probably slowed down because you’re not consuming enough calories. After the initial shock and weight loss at limited calories, your body will get used to that small amount coming in every day and will cling on to it for dear life! So…. eat more and you will lose more, trust me!

  2. why haven’t you written more? Here is how I found you: I saw an article on the BBC’s website on how facebook SHOULD be combating the rise of “pro-ana” sites, so I decided to see for myself how rampant they really were, and to my surprise I found some weight loss groups that weren’t ABOUT anorexia, and there you were, advertising your blog.

I love reading it, but why ahve you stopped? I myself am a short girl, 5′4″ and 213 pounds (it’s so embarrassing). ANd I’ve never had the courage to start my own online weight loss blog though I’ve always thought that maybe it would help, knowing that people were reading and checking up and what not.

I hope you’ve been okay. I will continue to read and root for you, and hopefully, myself as well!

  3. starving yourself isn’t going to help you lose weight. if you would have researched weight loss, you would know that not eating only slows down your metabolism. if this happens, when you do eat, your body retains more of the calories from the food because it thinks that it won’t be getting another meal in a while.

if you’re looking to lost weight quickly, your best bet is to work out at least an hour a day. cardio should be your best friend. instead of eating 3 large meals a day, eat smaller meals but have snacks in between meals. if you keep eating, your metabolism will stay up and will never plummet like it does when you starve yourself. working out and building muscle also helps boost your metabolism. the more muscle tissue you have, the higher your metabolism. this way, you will be able to burn more calories each day even if you’re not working out as long as you maintain the muscle tissue.

    good luck!
